About Rosuron-EZ 20 Tablet
Rosuron-EZ 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 20 mg + Ezetimibe 10 mg. Rosuvastatin is among the most potent statins; combinations with antiplatelets (Aspirin, Clopidogrel) and lipid-modifiers (Ezetimibe, Fenofibrate) provide comprehensive cardiovascular risk reduction.
Indicated for primary hyperlipidaemia, mixed dyslipidaemia, secondary prevention of cardiovascular events, and as primary prevention in high-risk patients (JUPITER trial).

Mechanism of Action
Rosuvastatin is a potent statin that competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis. Hepatic LDL receptor upregulation increases LDL clearance from blood. Produces 40-55% LDL reduction at 10-40 mg doses with modest HDL increase. Ezetimibe blocks intestinal cholesterol absorption via NPC1L1 inhibition.
