Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 400 mg IV once daily infused over 60 minutes.

- GI upset, headache, QT prolongation (monitor in cardiac patients), tendon rupture, C.
- difficile colitis, hypoglycaemia/hyperglycaemia, photosensitivity, peripheral neuropathy.
Contraindications
- Children, pregnancy, lactation, history of FQ tendinopathy, severe hepatic impairment, prolonged QT, on QT-prolonging drugs (amiodarone, sotalol, ondansetron etc.).
