About Quinly-200 Tablet
Quinly-200 Tablet contains Hydroxychloroquine 200 mg — first-line DMARD for rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, discoid lupus, and Sjögren’s syndrome. Also used for malaria prophylaxis and treatment.

Mechanism of Action
Hydroxychloroquine is a 4-aminoquinoline antimalarial that also has immunomodulatory effects — accumulates in lysosomes raising pH, inhibits Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9), reduces autoantibody production. Used for malaria, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus.
Dosage & Administration
RA/Lupus: 200–400 mg/day (max 5 mg/kg/day actual body weight per current AAO ophthalmic guidelines).
Side Effects
Retinal toxicity (annual eye exams after 5 years), GI upset, headache, skin pigmentation, neuromuscular weakness, QT prolongation, cardiomyopathy (rare, long-term).
Contraindications & Precautions
Pre-existing retinal disease, G6PD deficiency (relative), QT prolongation, on QT-prolonging drugs, psoriasis (exacerbation), porphyria.
