About Phase-250 Injection

Mechanism of Action
Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate is a long-acting progestin (synthetic 17α-hydroxyprogesterone derivative) — binds progesterone receptors in endometrium and uterine smooth muscle. Dosage & Administration
Pregnancy: 250 mg IM weekly from 16–20 weeks until 36 weeks gestation.
Side Effects
Injection site reactions (most common), nausea, headache, breast tenderness, fluid retention. VTE risk theoretical but not significantly increased.
Contraindications & Precautions
Pregnancy with severe gestational diabetes, history of VTE, hormone-sensitive cancers, severe hepatic disease.
