About Tenozen-AF 25 Tablet
Tenozen-AF 25 Tablet contains Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) 25 mg — newer prodrug with better safety profile than TDF (less renal and bone toxicity). Preferred in patients with renal impairment or osteoporosis risk.

Indications
- Chronic hepatitis B (HBeAg+/-)

Mechanism of Action
Tenofovir is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) — phosphorylated intracellularly to active form that competitively inhibits HIV/HBV reverse transcriptase and incorporates into viral DNA causing chain termination. TAF achieves higher intracellular drug levels with lower plasma levels — reducing renal and bone toxicity.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 25 mg once daily with food.
Side Effects
Headache, nausea, fatigue, lipid changes. Lower renal/bone toxicity than TDF.
