About Trizoron-35 MR Tablet
Trizoron-35 MR Tablet contains Trimetazidine 35 mg (Modified Release). Trimetazidine is a unique metabolic anti-anginal — it improves myocardial energy efficiency by shifting cardiac metabolism from fatty-acid oxidation to glucose oxidation, requiring less oxygen for the same ATP production.
Indicated for symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients inadequately controlled by or intolerant to first-line anti-anginal therapies (beta-blockers, CCBs).

Mechanism of Action
Trimetazidine inhibits long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase (3-KAT), reducing myocardial fatty-acid oxidation and shifting energy production to glucose oxidation. This improves oxygen efficiency in ischaemic cardiac tissue without affecting heart rate, BP or contractility.
