About Ranifer-O Injection
Ranifer-O Injection combines Ondansetron 2 mg + Ranitidine 25 mg per ml — for severe nausea/vomiting with hyperacidity, post-operative nausea with reflux, and chemotherapy-induced emesis with gastritis.

Mechanism of Action
Ondansetron is selective 5-HT3 antagonist blocking emesis.Ranitidine is an H2 receptor antagonist — competitively blocks histamine-mediated gastric acid secretion. (Note: Ranitidine is restricted/withdrawn in many countries due to NDMA contamination concerns. Continued use in selected indications under physician supervision.)
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1–2 ml IV slow push 2–3 times daily.
Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, rare hepatic dysfunction, gynaecomastia (long-term high-dose), thrombocytopenia. Constipation, headache (Ondansetron).
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity, severe hepatic disease, renal impairment (dose adjust). Note NDMA contamination concerns. QT prolongation (Ondansetron).
