Mechanism of Action
Chlorhexidine is broad-spectrum antiseptic disrupting bacterial cell membranes. Clotrimazole is imidazole antifungal for dermatophytes and Candida.Clobetasol Propionate is super-potent topical corticosteroid (class I) — strongest topical steroid. Reserved for severe psoriasis, lichen planus, and refractory inflammatory dermatoses. Strict short-course use due to skin atrophy risk.
