About Clindacam-600 Injection
Clindacam-600 Injection contains Clindamycin 600 mg per 4 ml for parenteral administration in severe infections. Used in hospitalised patients with severe MRSA infections, necrotising fasciitis (where clindamycin’s toxin-suppression action is critical), severe anaerobic infections and septic arthritis/osteomyelitis.
Clindamycin is one of the recommended antibiotics for necrotising fasciitis combined with a beta-lactam because of its ability to suppress bacterial exotoxin production beyond simple bactericidal action.

Side Effects
Infusion-site pain, phlebitis. Diarrhoea (including C. difficile colitis), nausea, rash. Rare: pseudomembranous colitis, hepatotoxicity, hypersensitivity.

Hypersensitivity to lincosamides. History of C. difficile colitis. Severe hepatic impairment.
