About Trucip-4 Tablet
Trucip-4 Tablet contains Cyproheptadine 4 mg — first-generation H1 antihistamine with 5-HT2 antagonist activity. Widely used in paediatrics and adults as appetite stimulant in poor-appetite/failure-to-thrive cases.
Also indicated for allergic conditions (urticaria, allergic rhinitis), migraine prophylaxis (selected children), and serotonin syndrome (as antidote).

Mechanism of Action

Adults: 4 mg three times daily. Children: 0.25 mg/kg/day in divided doses.
