About Fusidus-M Cream
Fusidus-M Cream contains Fusidic Acid 2% + Mometasone 0.1% Cream. Fusidic acid is a narrow-spectrum topical antibiotic with potent activity against Staphylococcus aureus including methicillin-sensitive strains.
The M combination adds potent Mometasone 0.1% for severely inflamed infected dermatoses needing strong local steroid action.

- Impetigo and other staphylococcal pyoderma

Mechanism of Action
Fusidic Acid is a steroid-related antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by interfering with translation elongation factor G — preventing release of EF-G from the ribosome after GTP hydrolysis. Highly active against Staphylococcus aureus. Mometasone Furoate is a potent Class IV topical corticosteroid with high topical activity but low systemic absorption.
