About Medorest-10 Tablet
Medorest-10 Tablet contains Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (MPA) 10 mg — synthetic progestogen used for dysfunctional uterine bleeding, secondary amenorrhoea, endometriosis and as add-back therapy with GnRH analogues.

Mechanism of Action
Medroxyprogesterone Acetate is a synthetic progestogen that binds progesterone receptors — induces secretory transformation of endometrium, suppresses LH surge (anovulatory), and supports endometrial maintenance. Also has glucocorticoid and androgen receptor activity at higher doses.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 10 mg once daily for 5–10 days (DUB), continuously for endometriosis.
Side Effects
Breakthrough bleeding, breast tenderness, mood changes, weight gain, fluid retention. VTE risk (lower than COC).
Contraindications & Precautions
Pregnancy, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, hormone-sensitive cancer, history of VTE, severe hepatic disease.
