About Cofar-Plus Syrup
Cofar-Plus Syrup combines Levocetirizine 2.5 mg (non-sedating antihistamine), Ambroxol 15 mg (mucolytic) and Guaifenesin (expectorant) per 5 ml. Used for productive cough with allergic component in children and adults — particularly post-viral cough, allergic bronchitis and cough associated with allergic rhinitis.
The triple action addresses mucus production (mucolytic), expectoration (expectorant) and allergic mucosal inflammation (antihistamine) — providing comprehensive cough relief in a single dose. Levocetirizine has lower sedation potential than first-generation antihistamines.
Cofar-Plus is manufactured by Trumac Healthcare under WHO-GMP conditions. Available for monopoly-based PCD pharma franchise and third-party manufacturing — a high-volume paediatric SKU.
