About Drowise Tablet
Drowise Tablet contains Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03 mg with Drospirenone 3 mg — a combined oral contraceptive with a unique progestin (Drospirenone) that has anti-mineralocorticoid and anti-androgenic activity. This reduces fluid retention typical of older OCPs and improves acne, hirsutism and PMS symptoms.
Particularly preferred for women experiencing fluid retention, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), or acne on other OCPs. Drospirenone’s spironolactone-like action provides additional benefits beyond contraception.

Mechanism of Action

Same as Dinolex-E. Plus: severe renal/adrenal/hepatic insufficiency. Concurrent strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
