Mechanism of Action
Myo-Inositol is a sugar alcohol that acts as second messenger for FSH/insulin signalling — improves ovarian response to FSH, restores ovulation in PCOS, improves oocyte quality, and reduces hyperandrogenism. D-Chiro-Inositol is the chirally distinct stereoisomer with complementary insulin-sensitising action — physiological ratio 40:1 (Myo:DCI) considered optimal. Metformin reduces hepatic glucose output and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity — complementary to ovarian Myo-Inositol action.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily with meals.
