About Nausibar-5 Tablet
Nausibar-5 Tablet contains Prochlorperazine 5 mg — a phenothiazine antiemetic effective for severe nausea/vomiting, vertigo (especially labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease) and as adjunct for severe migraine.

Mechanism of Action
Prochlorperazine antagonises dopamine D2 receptors in chemoreceptor trigger zone and vestibular pathways — preventing emesis. Also has H1 antihistamine and anticholinergic effects.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 5–10 mg three times daily.
Side Effects
Sedation, extrapyramidal symptoms (acute dystonia, tardive dyskinesia with chronic use), hypotension, anticholinergic effects.
Contraindications & Precautions
Children below 2 years, severe CNS depression, narrow-angle glaucoma, Parkinson's disease, prolactinoma.
