About Razium-IV Injection

Mechanism of Action
Rabeprazole irreversibly inhibits gastric H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) — markedly suppressing both basal and stimulated acid secretion. Faster onset (within 1 hour) and less CYP2C19 dependence than Omeprazole.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 20 mg IV twice daily.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain. Long-term: B12 deficiency, hypomagnesaemia, fracture risk, C. difficile colitis. Injection site reactions.

Hypersensitivity. Caution in severe hepatic impairment.
