Mechanism of Action
Fexofenadine is a non-sedating second-generation H1 antihistamine — active metabolite of terfenadine. Minimal CNS penetration (no sedation), no anticholinergic effects, no QT prolongation. Preferred antihistamine for drivers and operators of heavy machinery. Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors.
Dosage & Administration
Children: 5 ml once daily based on age.
Side Effects
Headache, drowsiness (minimal), nausea, back pain. Very well tolerated. Rare paediatric mood changes (Montelukast).

Hypersensitivity, severe renal impairment (dose adjust).
