About Metarut Nasal Spray
Metarut Nasal Spray delivers Mometasone Furoate IP 0.05% w/v as 100 metered doses (50 mcg per actuation). Mometasone has potent local anti-inflammatory activity with very low systemic absorption — making it suitable for long-term daily use.
Indicated for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, non-allergic rhinitis, nasal polyposis (one of the few intranasal steroids with this indication) and adjunctive treatment of acute rhinosinusitis.

Mechanism of Action
Mometasone Furoate has high glucocorticoid receptor affinity. It induces lipocortin-1, suppresses phospholipase A2 and downregulates inflammatory gene expression including IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 — addressing the underlying eosinophilic inflammation.
Dosage & Administration
['Adults and adolescents > 12: 2 sprays in each nostril once daily', 'Children 2–11: 1 spray each nostril once daily', 'Nasal polyposis: 2 sprays each nostril twice daily', 'Allow 1–2 weeks for full effect']
