About Pregafer-NT 50/10 Tablet
Pregafer-NT 50/10 Tablet combines the gabapentinoid Pregabalin 50 mg with the tricyclic antidepressant Nortriptyline 10 mg — addressing two complementary mechanisms in neuropathic pain.
Indicated for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, fibromyalgia, chronic low-back pain with neuropathic component and trigeminal neuralgia.

Mechanism of Action
Pregabalin binds the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in CNS neurons, reducing release of excitatory neurotransmitters. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that inhibits noradrenaline and serotonin reuptake — augmenting descending pain inhibition. The combination addresses both peripheral and central mechanisms of neuropathic pain.
