About Scabus Lotion
Scabus Lotion combines Gamma Benzene Hexachloride 1% (Lindane — an ectoparasiticide) with Cetrimide 1% (cationic antiseptic) for treatment of scabies and head/body lice.
Indicated for scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei), pediculosis capitis (head lice), pediculosis pubis (crab lice), and as second-line therapy when permethrin/ivermectin have failed.

Mechanism of Action
Gamma Benzene Hexachloride (Lindane) is absorbed by ectoparasites where it stimulates and then paralyses the parasitic nervous system, causing seizures and death. Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic that disrupts bacterial membranes, reducing secondary infection.
