About Timolex-B Eye Drops
Timolex-B Eye Drops combines Timolol 0.5% with the selective alpha-2 agonist Brimonidine 0.2%. The dual mechanism — reduced aqueous production (Timolol) and increased uveoscleral outflow (Brimonidine) — provides additive IOP reduction.
Indicated for open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension inadequately controlled on monotherapy.

Mechanism of Action
Timolol reduces aqueous production by blocking ciliary body beta receptors. Brimonidine is a selective alpha-2 agonist that decreases aqueous formation and increases uveoscleral outflow. The complementary mechanisms provide additive IOP lowering.
