About Acarest-25 Tablet
Acarest-25 Tablet contains Acarbose 25 mg — starting dose for Type 2 diabetes. Reduces post-prandial glucose without hypoglycaemia. Particularly effective in patients with high carbohydrate diet.

Mechanism of Action
Acarbose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor — competitively inhibits intestinal alpha-glucosidase enzymes that break down complex carbohydrates. Reduces post-prandial glucose spikes without causing hypoglycaemia in monotherapy.
