About Truace-TZ Tablet
Truace-TZ Tablet combines the NSAID Aceclofenac 100 mg with the alpha-2 adrenergic muscle relaxant Tizanidine 2 mg. Tizanidine acts centrally to reduce muscle tone, particularly useful in muscle spasticity and chronic painful spasm.
It is widely prescribed for acute low back pain with muscle spasm, cervical spondylosis, chronic neck and shoulder spasm, fibromyalgia and pain syndromes associated with spasticity.

Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase, reducing peripheral prostaglandin synthesis and inflammation. Tizanidine is a centrally-acting alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that reduces presynaptic release of excitatory amino acids in the spinal cord, decreasing polysynaptic reflex excitability and reducing muscle tone. The combination addresses both inflammatory pain and reflex muscle hypertonia.
