About Amiopace-100 Tablet
Amiopace-100 Tablet contains Amiodarone 100 mg — for life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation rate control, and Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome. Maintenance dose after loading.

Mechanism of Action
Amiodarone is a class III antiarrhythmic — primarily potassium channel blocker but also has class I (sodium), II (beta), and IV (calcium) effects. Long half-life (~50 days). Used for life-threatening ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: Loading 200 mg three times daily for 1 week, then 200 mg twice daily for 1 week, then 100–200 mg/day maintenance.
Side Effects
Pulmonary fibrosis (serious), thyroid dysfunction, corneal microdeposits, photosensitivity, hepatotoxicity, blue-grey skin discolouration.

Bradycardia, AV block, severe hypotension, iodine allergy, pregnancy.
