About Iromac Capsule
Iromac Capsule provides Carbonyl Iron 50 mg with Folic Acid and Zinc — Carbonyl Iron is highly bioavailable elemental iron in micronised form, with less GI irritation than ferrous salts.
Useful for adults and adolescents with mild-to-moderate iron deficiency anaemia, pregnancy supplementation, and recovery after blood loss.

Mechanism of Action
Carbonyl Iron is highly bioavailable elemental iron in micronised form — better tolerated than ferrous salts with similar absorption. Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 support DNA synthesis for haematopoiesis. Zinc complements as a cofactor for multiple haematopoietic enzymes.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 capsule once or twice daily after meals.
Side Effects
Constipation, dark stools, metallic taste, occasional nausea. Generally well tolerated with food.

Iron overload disorders (haemochromatosis, thalassaemia), peptic ulcer, megaloblastic anaemia without B12 supplementation, pernicious anaemia.
