About Defrut Suspension
Defrut Suspension contains Deflazacort 6 mg per 5 ml — a synthetic glucocorticoid widely used in paediatric practice for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. Deflazacort has comparable anti-inflammatory potency to prednisolone but with lower bone-density and growth-impact effects, making it preferred in paediatric long-term therapy.
Commonly used in nephrotic syndrome, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, severe asthma exacerbations and Duchenne muscular dystrophy (FDA-approved indication). The suspension format allows accurate paediatric dosing.

Mechanism of Action
