About Dothiwise-25 Tablet
Dothiwise-25 Tablet contains Dothiepin (also called Dosulepin) 25 mg — a tricyclic antidepressant similar to amitriptyline but with somewhat lower side-effect burden. Used for depression and chronic pain syndromes, particularly when amitriptyline is poorly tolerated.
Dothiepin has documented evidence in depression with anxiety component and chronic pain conditions. The 25 mg dose is the starting/low-end dose for both indications.

Mechanism of Action

Recent MI. Cardiac arrhythmias. Severe hepatic impairment. Acute mania. Narrow-angle glaucoma. Concurrent MAOI use.
