About Eberwipe 15g Cream
Eberwipe Cream contains Eberconazole Nitrate 1%, a new-generation imidazole antifungal with broad-spectrum activity against dermatophytes, yeasts and dimorphic fungi. It demonstrates superior fungicidal effect on Trichophyton species and Candida compared to older azoles.
It is indicated for tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, tinea versicolor, cutaneous candidiasis and intertrigo. Eberconazole also has anti-inflammatory properties helpful in symptomatic relief.

Mechanism of Action
Eberconazole inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking 14-α-demethylase, the cytochrome P450 enzyme that converts lanosterol to ergosterol. The depletion of ergosterol disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity, leading to fungal cell death. Eberconazole shows greater fungicidal potency than older imidazoles and has additional anti-inflammatory activity.
