Mechanism of Action
Levothyroxine (T4) is synthetic thyroid hormone — exact bioequivalent of endogenous T4. Replaces deficient thyroid hormone in hypothyroidism. Converted peripherally to active T3.

Adults: 12.5–25 mcg once daily on empty stomach, titrate up.
