About Noxirut-P Tablet
Noxirut-P Tablet combines Lornoxicam 8 mg with Paracetamol 325 mg — synergistic peripheral COX inhibition (Lornoxicam) and central analgesic action (Paracetamol). Effective for moderate-to-severe acute pain with both inflammatory and non-inflammatory components.

Mechanism of Action
Lornoxicam is a potent oxicam-class NSAID — non-selective COX-1/COX-2 inhibitor with strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory action. Shorter half-life (~4 hours) than other oxicams allowing dose flexibility. Comparable efficacy to opioid analgesics for post-operative pain. Paracetamol provides central analgesic and antipyretic action via COX-3 inhibition and endocannabinoid modulation.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet twice daily.
Side Effects
GI upset, peptic ulcer, fluid retention, hepatic and renal effects. Higher GI toxicity than COX-2 selective. Hepatotoxicity at high paracetamol doses.
Contraindications & Precautions
Active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, third trimester pregnancy, severe renal/hepatic impairment, aspirin-sensitive asthma.
