About Vona-4 Injection
Vona-4 Injection delivers Ondansetron 4 mg IV — for chemotherapy-induced nausea prophylaxis, post-operative nausea/vomiting, and acute severe nausea.

Indications
- Pre-chemotherapy antiemetic prophylaxis

Mechanism of Action
Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist — blocks serotonin-mediated emesis. First-line for chemotherapy-induced and post-operative nausea/vomiting.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 4–8 mg IV slow push or infusion before chemo or at PONV onset.
Side Effects
Headache (very common), constipation, QT prolongation (dose-dependent), serotonin syndrome (with SSRIs).
Contraindications & Precautions
Congenital long QT, hypersensitivity, on apomorphine (severe hypotension).
