About Razium-O Tablet
Razium-O Tablet combines Rabeprazole 20 mg with Ondansetron 4 mg — for chemotherapy-induced nausea with reflux, severe morning sickness with hyperacidity, and post-operative nausea with GERD.

Mechanism of Action
Rabeprazole irreversibly inhibits gastric H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) — markedly suppressing both basal and stimulated acid secretion. Faster onset (within 1 hour) and less CYP2C19 dependence than Omeprazole. Ondansetron is selective 5-HT3 antagonist blocking emesis.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain. Long-term: B12 deficiency, hypomagnesaemia, fracture risk, C. difficile colitis. Constipation, headache, QT prolongation (Ondansetron).
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Caution in severe hepatic impairment. QT prolongation.
