About Reparon-V 1/0.3 Tablet
Reparon-V 1/0.3 Tablet contains Repaglinide 1 mg + Voglibose 0.3 mg. Repaglinide produces a short, rapid insulin spike at mealtimes, providing flexible post-prandial glucose control.
Indicated for type-2 diabetes — particularly in patients with prominent post-prandial hyperglycaemia, irregular meal patterns or older patients prone to hypoglycaemia with long-acting sulphonylureas.

Mechanism of Action
Repaglinide is a meglitinide insulin secretagogue. It closes pancreatic beta-cell ATP-sensitive K+ channels (binding a different site than sulphonylureas), depolarising the cell and triggering insulin secretion. Short half-life produces a rapid, post-prandial insulin spike — useful for control of postprandial hyperglycaemia. Voglibose delays intestinal carbohydrate digestion, complementing Repaglinide's post-prandial insulin spike.
