About Glocus Face Wash

Glocus Face Wash is an anti-acne medicated cleanser combining Salicylic Acid (BHA — beta-hydroxy acid, oil-soluble), Glycolic Acid (AHA — alpha-hydroxy acid, water-soluble) and Aloe Vera (soothing emollient).

Salicylic acid penetrates oily pores and dissolves keratin plugs. Glycolic acid removes the top layer of dead skin cells. Aloe Vera reduces irritation and improves tolerability for daily use in oily and acne-prone skin.

Indications

• Mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris
• Oily skin
• Comedonal acne
• Post-acne pigmentation
• Adjunct to oral isotretinoin

Mechanism of Action

Salicylic Acid (a beta-hydroxy acid) is oil-soluble and penetrates pilosebaceous units, dissolving keratin plugs and reducing comedone formation. Glycolic Acid (alpha-hydroxy acid) breaks down corneocyte cohesion in the stratum corneum, providing surface exfoliation. Aloe Vera provides anti-inflammatory and moisturising support.

Dosage & Administration

['Wet face with lukewarm water', 'Apply a small amount and gently massage for 30 seconds', 'Rinse thoroughly', 'Use twice daily', 'Apply moisturiser after']
