Mechanism of Action
Vitamin D3 is converted in liver to 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 (25-OH-D3) and then in kidney to active 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3. The active form enhances intestinal calcium absorption, supports bone mineralisation and modulates immune function.
Dosage & Administration
