About Defrut-6 Tablet
Defrut-6 Tablet contains Deflazacort 6 mg — used for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions requiring oral corticosteroid therapy. The 6 mg dose is the standard starting/maintenance dose for many conditions, equivalent to approximately 5 mg of prednisolone with somewhat better bone-density profile.
Used for rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, autoimmune conditions, nephrotic syndrome and other inflammatory disorders. Deflazacort’s relatively favourable bone-density and lipid profile compared to prednisolone makes it preferred in long-term therapy.
