About Livot-10 MD Tablet
Livot-10 MD Tablet provides Levocetirizine 10 mg as mouth-dissolving tablet — the up-dosed strength (2x standard) per EAACI guidelines for chronic urticaria unresponsive to standard 5 mg dose. Up to 4x dose may be needed in refractory cases.

Mechanism of Action
Levocetirizine is the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine — a selective second-generation H1 antihistamine. Higher H1 receptor affinity than cetirizine with lower brain penetration — minimal sedation. Onset 30 minutes, duration 24 hours.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 10 mg once daily. May increase to 20 mg or 40 mg/day under physician supervision for chronic urticaria.
Side Effects
Somnolence (higher at 10 mg vs 5 mg), dry mouth, headache.
