About Maclax-Plus Solution
Maclax-Plus Solution combines Liquid Paraffin (lubricant laxative) with Milk of Magnesia (osmotic laxative) — gentle dual-action laxative suitable for elderly, post-haemorrhoidectomy patients and children with chronic constipation.

Mechanism of Action
Liquid Paraffin lubricates intestinal contents and softens stool. Magnesium hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia) acts osmotically — drawing water into colon, mildly stimulating motility through magnesium-induced cholecystokinin release.

Adults: 15 ml at bedtime. Children: 5–10 ml.
