About Truace-Cold Tablet
Truace-Cold Tablet is a 5-component cold-and-body-ache combination providing Aceclofenac 100 mg (NSAID), Paracetamol 325 mg (antipyretic-analgesic), Cetirizine 10 mg (non-sedating H1 antihistamine), Phenylephrine 5 mg (nasal decongestant) and Caffeine 25 mg (analgesic adjuvant).
It is positioned for symptomatic relief in viral flu with body aches — covering fever, headache, joint pain, sneezing, allergic rhinitis, nasal blockage and the fatigue/lethargy commonly accompanying flu.

Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase, reducing prostaglandin-mediated joint and muscle ache. Paracetamol acts centrally for fever and pain. Cetirizine selectively blocks peripheral H1 receptors to control allergic rhinitis, sneezing and itching. Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist that decongests nasal mucosa. Caffeine potentiates analgesic action of NSAIDs and counters the lethargy of viral illness.
