About Truace-T Tablet
Truace-T Tablet combines the NSAID Aceclofenac 100 mg with the GABAergic muscle relaxant Thiocolchicoside 4 mg. Together they target inflammatory pain and reflex muscle spasm.
It is widely prescribed for acute low back pain with paraspinal spasm, cervical spondylosis, torticollis, post-traumatic muscle stiffness and sports injuries.

Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase, reducing prostaglandin synthesis at inflammatory sites and providing peripheral analgesia. Thiocolchicoside is a semisynthetic colchicoside that selectively binds GABA-A receptors at the spinal cord, producing muscle relaxation without significant CNS sedation. The combination breaks the pain-spasm-pain cycle quickly in acute musculoskeletal conditions.
