About Ebanex-10 Tablet
Ebanex-10 Tablet contains Ebastine 10 mg, a long-acting second-generation H1 antihistamine. Its active metabolite carebastine provides 24-hour antihistaminic effect with minimal sedation and no significant anticholinergic activity.
It is indicated for allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), chronic idiopathic urticaria and pruritic skin conditions of allergic origin in adults and children over 12.

Mechanism of Action
Ebastine is rapidly converted by the liver to its active metabolite carebastine, which selectively blocks peripheral H1 receptors with minimal CNS penetration. This produces 24-hour control of histamine-driven sneezing, rhinorrhoea, ocular itch and urticarial wheals without sedation.
