Dosage & Administration
- Infants: 0.25–0.5 mg/kg per dose, 3 times daily before feeds.
Side Effects
- Hyperprolactinaemia (galactorrhoea, gynaecomastia, amenorrhoea), QT prolongation (short-term high-dose), GI cramps.
Contraindications
- Prolactinoma, QT prolongation, on QT-prolonging drugs, severe hepatic impairment, GI obstruction/haemorrhage.
