Mechanism of Action

Mecobalamin is the active form of B12 — directly incorporated into myelin sheath synthesis supporting peripheral nerve regeneration.
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 tablet at bedtime.
- May increase to twice daily as tolerated.

- Dizziness, somnolence, peripheral oedema, weight gain, ataxia, blurred vision.
- Generally well tolerated;
- sedation dose-dependent.
- Anticholinergic effects (Nortriptyline less than Amitriptyline).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity.
