Mechanism of Action

Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 25 mg three times daily 15 minutes before meals.
Side Effects
- Hyperprolactinaemia (galactorrhoea, gynaecomastia, menstrual irregularity), extrapyramidal symptoms (rare at low dose), drowsiness.
Contraindications
- Prolactinoma, pheochromocytoma, epilepsy, severe Parkinson's, breast cancer history.
