About Aciron Cream
Aciron Cream provides Aciclovir 5% — topical antiviral for cold sores (herpes labialis). Most effective when started at prodromal stage (tingling) before vesicles appear.

Mechanism of Action
Acyclovir is converted by viral thymidine kinase to acyclovir triphosphate which inhibits viral DNA polymerase and incorporates into viral DNA causing chain termination. Topical 5% cream for HSV labialis.
Dosage & Administration
Apply 5 times daily for 4 days, starting at first sign (tingling).
Side Effects
Local stinging/burning, mild dryness.
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Avoid eyes/mucous membranes.
