About Carbirut-Plus Eye Drops
Carbirut-Plus Eye Drops provide higher-concentration CMC 1% — for moderate-severe dry eye disease requiring longer residence time. Slightly more viscous than 0.5%.

Mechanism of Action
Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) is hydrophilic polymer that mimics tear film mucin layer — provides longer ocular surface retention than saline drops. Standard first-line for dry eye disease (DES) and computer vision syndrome.
Dosage & Administration
1 drop 3–4 times daily (less frequent due to higher viscosity).
Side Effects
Transient blurred vision, mild stinging on installation. Generally very well tolerated. Transient blurred vision (more than 0.5%).
