About Carbirut-NG Eye Drops
Carbirut-NG Eye Drops combine CMC with Glycerin — dual lubricant providing longer-lasting ocular surface relief than CMC alone.
Manufactured by Trumac Healthcare under WHO-GMP.
Indications
- Moderate dry eye disease
- Computer vision syndrome
- Post-surgical eye dryness
Mechanism of Action
Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) is hydrophilic polymer that mimics tear film mucin layer — provides longer ocular surface retention than saline drops. Standard first-line for dry eye disease (DES) and computer vision syndrome. Glycerin adds humectant action drawing water to ocular surface.

Transient blurred vision, mild stinging on installation. Generally very well tolerated.
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity to preservatives (use preservative-free in chronic users).
