About Claricam-500 Injection

Claricam-500 Injection provides Clarithromycin 500 mg parenteral for severe respiratory tract infections, severe Legionella pneumonia, severe Mycoplasma pneumonia and hospitalised patients who cannot tolerate oral antibiotics. The IV form is also used for empirical coverage of atypical pathogens in severe community-acquired pneumonia (combined with a beta-lactam).

Strictly hospital use under medical supervision. Typically used for 2–7 days IV, then stepped down to oral Clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily to complete the course.

Claricam-500 Injection is manufactured by Trumac Healthcare under WHO-GMP injectable conditions. Available for monopoly-based PCD pharma franchise, government tenders and third-party manufacturing — a hospital SKU.
