About Trugum Mouth Paint
Trugum Mouth Paint is a quad-action topical preparation combining Clotrimazole 1% (broad-spectrum antifungal), Beclomethasone Dipropionate 0.025% (topical corticosteroid), Choline Salicylate 9% (NSAID analgesic) and Benzalkonium Chloride 0.02% (antiseptic) — in a palatable paan-flavour base.
It is indicated for oral candidiasis, recurrent aphthous ulcers, denture stomatitis, lichen planus and gingivostomatitis where antifungal, anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions are all required.

Mechanism of Action
Clotrimazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes by blocking lanosterol 14-α-demethylase, killing Candida and dermatophytes. Beclomethasone is a high-potency topical corticosteroid that suppresses local inflammatory cytokines, vasodilation and capillary permeability. Choline Salicylate provides rapid topical analgesia by inhibiting cyclooxygenase. Benzalkonium Chloride is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic active against Gram-positive bacteria.
Dosage & Administration
